To install the vim version, you will need to extract the program from the .zip file, and place it in the folder that contains the editor. On a normal installation, this would be c:/Program Files/ XV... - you will overwrite the existing exe. If you have not installed the XV-EditPro, you will need to do that first here
If you did not buy the registration code you can still use this program in the demo mode to browse through your XV but you will not be able to make any editing changes, save or write .
We changed some computer keys assignment:
Keys: x d c f v b h n j m k comma dot still pay octave notes.
Keys: q and w change octave played from minus two to six.
Keys: e and r change playing midi channel from one to sixteen.
Keys: t an y change note velocity.
October 7, 2004 update should eliminate few run time errors while editing.
