MORPHER
- Editing of all program parameters in real-
time. All program parameters are displayed on the single, scrollable horizontal panel with button shortcuts.
- If KingKORG is set to the Program Edit mode and parameters are changed manually on the keyboard, the editor will display changes will be automatically updated.
- Adjustment of parameters for both Timbres A and B can be synced together.
- Program parameters are divided in to groups of parameters that can be copied and pasted to program timbers.
- Unlimited number of edited Program Snapshots can be taken or recalled at any time for easy sound comparison and etc.
- Edited or new programs can be quickly and easily written to KingKORG banks or stored in the editor’s librarian.
- Editor features KingKORG Program librarian where you can store, organize unlimited
number of programs in all program categories with drag-
drop functions. Programs can be easily audited without a need to write them first into KingKORG banks.
- Phantom Banks utility can store unlimited number of USER Banks (programs 201 to 300) , Programs can be also audited using so called “edit buffers” with no need to write them first into KingKORG banks.
Programming of KingKorg sounds without programming!
The KingKORG editor offers tools to aid users in many different ways in creation of very unique sounds that otherwise would be very hard to program. All with just a simple mouse click.
Sound generating tools include:
- Patch Maker.
- Program Morpher.
- Sound Genetics.
- Timbre Templates.
- Arp, Effect and Vocoder Templates.
Patch Maker
The Patch Maker organizes KingKORG Program into parameter groups. All Parameter groups can be reassigned to corresponding groups from other programs and as a result a differently sounding programs are quickly created. Newly created programs are automatically sent to KingKORG for audition.
Program Morpher
The morpher takes two different programs, morphs them together and creates a new one. There is also a set of filters that when enabled might helps to refine the results by excluding selected parameters or groups of parameters from KingKORG program compilations.
Program Genetics
Program Genetics takes the KingKORG sound creation yet to another dimension. Take two different programs (Mommy and Daddy) and use four different functions like Mix, Morph, Mutate, Random to create sets of 100’s of new programs. For example, Morph function will produce 100 results with sound evolving from Mommy to Daddy and all in between. Most of the functions produce about 90% of high;y usable, musically well sounding programs. For those searching for “junky” or “obscure” sounds this is also could be a goldmine. The functionality of Program Genetics does not stop just on the unique sound creation. This utility can be used to change selected parameters in the whole bank like for example the mod assignment.
Timbre Templates
This utility copies Timbre A or Timbre B from different available programs and applies it to Timbre A or B sections of the current program. Of course like everywhere else in the editor all changes are sent to the KingKORG and could be immediately auditioned.
