The PlugSE download may offer both, the complete setup that automatically copies plug-in files to Mac library plug-in folders or zip files containing individual plug-ins that need to be installed manually.

To manually install plug-ins, open Users/yousername/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components folder. This folder is normally hidden from users. To access this folder, hold the Option key while selecting the Go menu from the Finder.

Place the contents of the ZIP in to Components folder.

For VST plug-ins, please use Users/yourusername/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST folder.
