OB-X8 Voice Program Banks

Using the bank panel you can access and select from all programs in the OB-X8  banks. In order to import all programs to the PlugSE use MIDI RECEIVE functions.

Please note that receiving or transmitting of Voice programs is not possible when OB-X8 is in the Stack mode (UPPER or LOWER) due to the hardware OS limitation. In either LOWER or UPPER mode you can use the bank panel only to select programs for UPPER or LOWER voices.

To display the list of programs for a selection you can use bank buttons to select programs from a certain bank or click on the CATEGORY button to select programs according to their category assignment.

You can import Program banks saved in files by clicking on the FILE button.

Supported formats are:-

- *.syx (Raw SysEx data) containing OB-X8 program banks.

- *.obx8_bank , OB-X8  Editor bank files.

For a convenience, if you like to revert or reload the original factory programs you can use the PRESET button. Again, like with the bank files,  selected factory banks will be loaded to the currently selected bank.

When you select a program from OB-X8 banks that selected Voice program will be loaded the current PlugSE patch and all it’s parameters will be displayed on the Voice panel.

Press F2 key again or click on the BANK button to close the Banks panel.
